Excel: What if I insert/delete some rows/columns in my table after exporting it?

When UpSlide updates a shape imported from Excel, the updated shape retains its width so that, if the user makes manual adjustments, they are not lost by the update. This has two consequences:

  • You can insert or delete some rows in a source Excel table. When updated, the new shape will retain its width and adapt its height to the new content.
  • If you want to insert or delete some columns in the source table, we suggest you re-export the table using the UpSlide feature in Excel. Otherwise, when you Update, the font size will not be preserved.
